Reggie Didn't Know!

According to an ESPN interview (today's video interview with Reggie blatantly lying is found here also) with Reggie Bush's lawyer, Reggie "did not know" that his mother was living in a new, $800,000 house.

To be fair to Reggie, nothing has been proved, but the fact that his mom high-tailed it out of the house like OJ in a white Ford Bronco and today's Troy Wingo interview did nothing to help his case. But like Steve Urkel, the "I didn't know/Did I do that?" defense will go no where in helping USC or his reputation. Even if Reggie did not know, USC is still culpable according to NCAA rules because if a player or player's family receives benefit, a violation has occurred.

But are we really to believe that for at least six months, Reggie had no idea where his mother was living? Did he never make the two hour trip from Los Angeles to visit his mother? Did he not send his mom a Christmas card? Did he not try to call her at the old number? Even a reporter from halfway across the nation knew where Mrs. Griffin was living.

Thanks to cracking reporting by the investigative team at The LSUoverUSC Blog, we've uncovered other things Reggie did not know.

That lateralling the ball in traffic is a bad idea.

The sporting agent Michael Michaels, the man who originally bought the San Diego house before Reggie's mom carved her name and year into the wet cement in front of the house, was covertly working for LSU. His codename was "Trojan Horse."

That LSU won the 2003 National Championship.

I too just found out that my poor parents have been living in a $750,000 house for the last year. Talk about shocking. I also just found out that they were flown to all of my away games and had their hotel rooms comped. I'm in shock, it's almost like we aren't even in the same family!

LSUoverUSC, you're a rotten piece of human feces. You have no idea what it means to truly hate U$C, and why you should hate U$C. Nobody cares about LSWho, it's hillarious that they are irrelevant and need to ride $UC's coattails to stay in the limelight.

This recent episode is but the latest in a long, long line of obvious character and institutional flaws at $outhern Cal. The track record speaks for itself, murderers, drug dealers, alcoholics, you name it, they're proud Trojans, we're talking hundreds of Cecil the Diesels here so try to follow along.

Anyway, 2003 LSU was one of the crappiest "champions" in memory. Matt Mauck? Justin Vincent? Corey Webster? Chad Lavalais? LOL. Enjoy your split.

Love,

MD21

According to the Spring Valley San Diego rental listings:

Spring Valley rent at $1,276 is the equal to a $201,930 mortgage.

Using that ratio, the rent for a $750,000 home would be $4,739.27

I don't care if $750,000 is a medium range home in this area or not, but financing is financing, and the numbers don't magically start changing because you're in California.

These numbers were obtained by the San Diego rent slicer, which compiles rental property statistics for the San Diego area.

A 65-70k salary a year, after income taxes, is no where NEAR enough money to support living in a $750,000 home. Get real people. Even if the rent is only $2500 a month, that's $30,000 for the year. You don't spend half your earnings on a rental home and still manage to drive a car or feed people for an entire year.

Just admit that it's not a good looking situation in terms of financing for the Bush's.

Who cares Reggie Bush does what all good players do help out the family. Plus the guy was giving the Griff's a helping hand nothing wrong with that.

all the comments from usc fans are the best. "get a life loser." haha typically socal wussbags. thats the problem with the whole liberal state they live in. nobody is ever held accountable for their actions. by far the worst state in the country. these fans think he should get a free pass like oj did.

There's nothing wrong per se with Reggie helping out his family. What's wrong with it is that NCAA football is for amateurs. When you get paid or benefits because of who you are while in college, you are now a professional. You can't have it both ways. Either enjoy the fruits of professional sports. Or enjoy college athletics and wait for the payday.

That's not even going into the unfair advantage teams that bend or break NCAA rules have.

Actually, OJ didn't get a free pass. He was indeed found liable in civil court and can't make a dime over his pension. I know it's not enough but it's better than the insane criminal jury that found him not guilty. As far a California being "liberal"--good. Progressive equates with intelligence and a higher IQ.

What's funny, Texas fa, is that you will be back to getting the shit kicked out of you by OU next year and will be about another 34 years from another national championship. You Texans are just like LSU fans. You live through college foobtall because you take your pride anyway you can get it. God, I would hate to live in that shithole. Maybe if I was unfortunate enough to live in Texas or Louisiana, I would be jealous to the point of rage of USC's tradion also.
