Justice is late but soon to arrive for USC
According to several sources, the NCAA will punish USC for being the most corrupt program in recent NCAA history come this Friday. Rumors swirl as to what the punishment will be, but our sources tell us it will be severe. I believe USC will lose five or six scholarships for the next four years, be bowl ineligible for two years, and be forced to forfeit all games from November 2004 to January 2006. That would mean USC is forced to forfeit 18 games, 17 of which were victories, all as a result of cheating. USC's final composite record during the 2000s decade would be 85-42, for a 67% winning percentage.
The BCS has already written new rules to accommodate the corruption at USC, writing in 2007 a provision that allows the BCS to vacate a national championship if a winning team has been proved to have major NCAA violations. It's clear that USC will soon be the first to experience this justice.
The end result is leaving USC as a program in shambles that hasn't won a national championship since Jimmy Carter was president.

ATLVick101- I am in favor of the NCAA giving U$C the death penalty... OJ Mayo, Reggie Bush, Joe McNight. If they vacate wins then who is the national champs- Oklahoma or Auburn

Proof that every win during Pete's time was the result of cheating:

Pete conspiring with USC "enemy" Reggie Bush recruiting Joe McKnight. The NCAA has yet to rule on this huge violation and huge slap in the face to the NCAA, who was investigating both Pete and Reggie and USC when this happened.
do you really believe Pete the Cheat didn't know? His assistant who is still at USC certainly knew. I have no doubt in my mind that Pete knew and he didn't care. He probably rationalized it to himself by saying Reggie deserved it.
Just look at how he got Reggie on the phone with him to sway recruits to USC. It's obvious he has zero respect for the rules of the NCAA so why should we expect him to have behaved any differently when the NCAA wasn't investigating! Can you imagine the kind of stuff Pete was pulling before the NCAA rolled into town?
Let's not forget how Pete tried to sweep the Ting Steroid Scandal under the rug. A week before the steroid news came out, Pete told reporters that the Ting brothers were retiring from USC football to focus on med school. Only after a brave insider leaked the story did we know the real reason. But Pete didn't want anyone to know. He lied and tried to hide the corruption of his program.
Yep, I have no doubt Pete knew and approved of what was going on with Reggie.
