Yet another U$Candal
For the 11th time in three years, a U$C player has been arrested and charged with a serious offense. It is reported that U$C defensive lineman Frostee Rucker allegedly seriously beat his girlfriend twice and then defaced her apartment.
Frostee practices his moves on the field for game time at homeThose who follow the corrupt program may already be thinking Rucker is no longer a U$C player. While that is true, these incidents all occurred in August 2005.
In other news, the dirty recruiting department recently sent a letter to recruits stating that they will no longer be able to provide student athletes with one million dollar houses, free meals at one Greek restaurant, 5 karat diamond earrings, or be able to pay off parental debt. Nor will U$C boosters be allowed to pay the rent on $100,000/year luxury apartments. The letter mentions that increased scrutiny and an investigation by the NCAA have prompted these changes. Nonetheless, the letter does state that in honor of Frostee Rucker, recruits and players will receive a lifetime supply of Wendy's Frosty drinks.

Listen, as a loyal lsu fan for 32 years, i'm asking you to stop this bs feud with trojan fans. Seriously, every lsu fan I know and hang out with has always been the epitome of class to both opposing teams and their fans, but you are seriously undermining all of the good lsu fans (which the vast majority of us are) and just giving others ammunition in their incessant demeaning of our "entire" fanbase.
Although I don't care for USC, it isn't due to 2003. I've never liked them, Miami, Fl. State, or Notre Dame.
I agree that these attacks by both our schools are pretty ridiculous and should have stopped about 3 years ago. Every week on USC and LSU message boards, there are posts attacking the others conference or team. Ridiculous.
To the last two anons, thank you very, very much. I respect your decency and agree that the majority of fans from both schools are great. We ALWAYS hang out with fans from the school we are playing and have a blast. The founders of this site just don't get it.

Look, I've been going to the games for 35 years and yes, there are some arrogant jerks (like the ones who started this blog) and certainly a bunch of fair-weather bandwagoners which is very typical when you win. But to make generalizations like the 4:00 hater did is preposterous. Certainly our tailgates aren't like that as we welcome everyone.
why did usc sign the bcs contract if it wasnt going to abide by its stipulations when the system didnt give you the result you wanted and certainly didn't deserve.
Read the responses to the section below. The bottom line is that the BCS did not eliminate the AP. Period. USC took what it was given, without complaint from the BCS, Coaches' Association, NCAA, the conferences, or the schools. Some LSU fans didn't like it so they continue to bitch and whine.

I never said I didn't read it--where did you get that? Look at the responses by the USC anon on the next section. I agree with him: The contract doesn't use the phrase "only" champion. This site is mischaracterizing it. Once again, you can't answer these questions and you can't respond to mine regarding no outcry from the parties involved. You can't get over this as the facts don't allow it. I guess you'll try insults instead. When a kid gets busted, instead of admitting he's wrong he just hurls insults. That's what comes out of this blog.
Also, why the hate? Really. At the last USC-UCLA basketball game my eleven-year-old daughter got flipped off by lots of UCLA fans. However, I know that this is not indicative of the majority of Bruin fans--I have lots of very close UCLA friends and we party, travel, work, and even grieve together when tragedy strikes. I would never let the few ruin my relationship with them.

Last time--the contract is crystal clear that the AP is not de-certified. Yes, LSU has the crystal--congratulations. USC has the AP. Damn, I didn't even blink an eye with this story because I thought it occurred after Rucker graduated. But finding out this happened at the beginning of the prior season, it really makes you wonder how they kept this in the closet and why charges have only been filed now. Wow.

Parents given 757,000 dollar house, 24,000 cash for debts, 8 free all expense paid vacations, etc. Reggie receives several hundred thousand dollars and matching 5 karat diamond earrings. Then later the possibility tha he point shaved in the Rose Bowl being investigated by the FBI thanks to his connections to known gang members and casino owners.
Lendale White -- fails drug test.
Winston Justice -- threatens fellow student with lethal weapon. Arrested for soliciting prostitutes. Signs deal with agent in Nov 2004, receiving unknown benefits.
Mike Williams -- gets several free trips to the Bahamas will playing for USC in 2003. Signs deal with agent. Fortunately the NCAA ruled him ineligible when he changed his mind.

Frostee Tucker -- arrested for two counts each of domestic abuse and vandalism.
